Deadly... Popcorn?!?!?!

Yep, that's right, they have found a possibly link with that wonderful butter microwave popcorn and lung disease. So next time you go to pop, think twice!

http://health.yahoo.com/news/179052

V for Vendetta...

The most famous and repeated lines from that movie are not in fact actually orginially from the movie at all. Tonight while reading the last Sandman graphic novel I found the exact same lines:
Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November, Gun-Powder, Treason and Plot...
I See No Reason Why Gunpowder Treason Should Ever Be Forgot.

Neil Giaman has William Shakespeare and Ben Jonson saying these lines and they are in quotes, so I have a feeling that these words were in fact first said by those two men, and the story and the book are merely quoting them.

Interesting...

Finals RUSH!!!

Lol, at least that's what I'm going to call it because that's what it feels like. Rush, rush, rush to finish everything, and get everything set up and done. My Final is next Tuesday, I intend to spend all weekend and monday studying; so far I'm not doing that bad in Calc, but not what I would call good either. I've been making stupid mistakes on the tests, and I mean really stupid like forgetting to put in the negative sign. I currently have a B in there, somehow thank god. Hopefully I did well on Tuesday's test, I won't know till tomorrow or Friday though. I'm looking for a place to stay in Normal next Tuesday and Weds. nights. I'd really like to see people when I'm done with my final so I want to drive down and stay for a few days. If anyone needs help moving stuff out of an apartment and back home or whatever I'd be happy to help if you give me a place to crash.

Let's see I have classes set up for fall, so things are going well there, I find out about my room in just a few weeks now. I can say my excitement is really growing, I can't wait to be at school and around everyone again. I'm applying to a few jobs at local hospitals for this summer, so I hope I get one of those to have something to do so I don't have a ton of free time. I have to have two cavaties filled so I don't know how that's going to go, I hope I don't lose feeling in my tongue that would suck. I lost feeling in my lower lip from having the wisdom teeth removed so it would really suck to have more nerve damnage.

Things with Mike are okay. I'm hoping things work out with me and this guy in my Calc class or me and Andrew this summer. Lol, otherwise I might have to start online dating. Anyway things with Mike are a bit weird, but I'm determined to be the good friend through it and act as if nothing happened. He and I talk at least every few days, so for the most part things are normal. I'm still hurt by the shit he pulled but he wasn't the first guy to pull it and he won't be the last I'm sure. So nothing to do but bite the bullet, suck it up, and move on. Or I could be the bitch and swear him out, but it's not like he'd get it so it would do no good and therefore be pointless. I don't tend to like doing pointless things as most of you know. So whatever, hopefully I'll find someone this fall at school.

Interesting...

Color me lovable

Most of us have a favorite color. Maybe you’re drawn to sky blue because it makes your eyes stand out or you find forest green particularly comforting. Whatever the case, your preferred hue can reveal a lot about what makes you tick. And the same holds true for the people you date—you’d probably have a different impression of a date if he or she said, “My favorite color is yellow,” versus “My favorite color is black.” That’s because color speaks a powerful, silent language. And I can help you understand it. I’m a success coach and best-selling author of Simple Spells for Love and other books, and I’ve studied color theory. So, look up your favorite color below — and your date’s best-loved shade — and get some colorful insights that will benefit your romantic life.

Red
What it represents: Ah, the color of passion, anger and high blood pressure. Red is a primal color. It represents primal urges, like lust (“I must have you now!”) and fury (you know the phrase, “seeing red,” right?). Yes, red is a commanding color: Think of how stop signs get you to halt in your tracks and how you stand back when a red fire engine goes whizzing by.

Understanding people who love it: They act — sometimes without thinking — on immediate desires. In fact, they’re usually the poster child for immediate gratification. It’s up to you if you go for it... or proceed with caution.

Orange
What it represents: OK, orange is not exactly the easiest color to wear and it’s not the most common favorite color, but guess what? Orange is as sexy as it gets. Orange is a mellowed red—and it takes primal, lusty urges and mellows them with a softer vibe. Orange is the color of early attractions, emotional responses, and inner magnetism. Oh, and one other thing: Orange is also close to gold, the color of success and wealth.

Understanding people who love it: Someone who likes orange is alive with feelings, the ability to nurture, and can intuit a path to success. If your favorite color is orange, you don’t have an “off” switch when it comes to passion. This is all good stuff, but there’s nothing casual about the connections this kind of person usually forges.

Yellow
What it represents: Yellow is the color of the sun, vitality, power and ego... but it’s not a great indicator of romance. Watch out for self-centered, me-first energy when someone prefers yellow to the rest of the rainbow.

Understanding people who love it: If yellow is your favorite color, temper your use of the word “I” when you’re interested in someone else. You can come across as too ego-centric. Now, if you’re dating someone whose favorite hue is yellow, make sure to jump in and share stories about yourself, since this person may not give you much room.

Green
What it represents: Here is the heart of the matter. Green is the color of love. (It’s no coincidence that we make our money in the same color...) Green is the color of life and abundance — leaves, grass, plants — it’s all about growing, expanding, and living. So why don’t we give ferns instead of roses on Valentine’s Day? Because green is about expansive, humanistic love and acceptance, not bodice-ripping romance. What’s more, green is a nice person color, a do-gooder, be-gooder kind of color. This person has a warm heart. Hot passion is probably in there somewhere, buried under the integrity and honor.

Understanding people who love it: If you love green, you put the greater good before your own good—but try a little selfish behavior once in a while.

Blue
What it represents: Blue is a color of clarity, communications and charm. And regardless of the shade, this hue says: “I like to be understood.” On the downside, under stress, a “blue” person can send mixed messages, have trouble making up their mind, or just space out.

Understanding people who love it: If blue is your favorite color, you never run out of anything to say—expression is your strong suit. And if you’re dating someone “blue”? The same holds true; you should always know where you stand.

Purple
What it represents: Purple evokes the energy of illusion, imagination and fantasy. Or should we say purrrrple? Purple tends to inspire foreplay, romance, flirtation and teasing—it builds anticipation with playfulness. The downside of purple is unrealistic expectation. Is it easier to live in your fantasy world than the real world? Some purple-lovers prefer it.

Understanding people who love it: If you love purple you can be an imaginative romantic or prefer imaginary romance—depending on how you feel.

White
What it represents: White is light—the combination of all colors. White symbolizes purity (the virginal bridal dress, the christening gown) and spirituality. There’s a simplicity to it, too.

Understanding people who love it: People who love white are probably clean and orderly. While white isn’t the sexiest color, it is certainly healthy.

Black
What it represents: Like white, black is a combination of all colors, but instead of purity, it represents the unknown, the unseen—mystery. Black basically holds back information... but there’s no denying that it has strong associations in our culture with “the dark side” and evil.

Understanding people who love it: If your favorite color is black, you are more hush-hush than ha-ha. The silence of this color lets others fill in the blanks. Black says “I’m not telling you anything.” People who love black can be tough nuts to crack, but quite possibly worth the effort.

Astro-coach Barrie Dolnick helps people find love and happiness by understanding their stars and their karmic energy. She is the author of twelve books, including Enlighten Up! and KarmaBabe. Her website is www.barriedolnick.com.

Since all anyone seems to do is bitch...

I think I'll join the club. I'm sick of friends who aren't really friends. Who say they are going to do something and back out at the last minute or just don't show up for no reason; especially when they get beyond pissed when you happen to do the same thing for a good reason after trying to tell them that you should reschedule but they won't listen. People who are to self involved to even bother to ask how you're doing or what's going on with you and your life. And even if they do ask don't bother to pay attention or give a shit or sometimes even let you finish before everything is about them again. I'm so fed up with everyone saying they are your friend when they really aren't. Sometimes people just need to shut up or keep things to themselves.

I hate people that are so wrapped up in their love life that they can't see anything else; there are so many more important things in life than that. Even in their lives for that matter. For everything to be wholly about that and the stupid little fights and problems that with time would work themselves out just fine if only that person could see that instead of turning it into such a huge thing every time.

I’m sick of people that can’t stop blowing up problems and pains to something bigger than what they are. Lots of people live with pain everyday. Here’s the cold hard fact, you learn to fucking deal with it because you don’t have another choice, now fucking move on. Pain medicine doesn’t normally work for most pains; somehow people deal with it in silence everyday. They deal with the fact that they can’t sleep thanks to the pain. Not everyone wants to listen to your constant bitching about every little thing that hurts; it makes you sound like you just want pain meds like you can’t live without them. It’s a fact of life that you can’t have pain meds for every little ouch you get, deal with it.

Horses!!!!

Well, guilt does amazing things. Mom forgets about the little reason that she didn't want me to take riding back up (sometimes insane forgetfulness is in my favor), which means that I get to take horseback riding back up! Yay! So I'm looking around to find what helmet to buy and some breeches. And hopefully in another week I'll be back in the saddle, hehehe, literally...

Well since I've been sick since tues. and can't manage to keep anything down yet due to really bad nausea, I won't be making the trip to B-N because frankly if I have to go to the hospital from lack of food I'd much rather it be the hospital where I know people.

V-Day Stinks!!!

Lol, yeah I know a lot of people are either being all nasty in love today or are going on about how much it sucks to be alone. But my day stank, literally. We spider bombed my room today since it was so warm out; that way we'd be able to air it out well. But my dad only gave me 20 min to get everything that needs to be taken out of my room out before he set it off. And we opened the closet doors to make sure that it killed any spiders in there. So after letting my room air out for a good hour I came back in to see how bad the smell was. I was truly not prepared for everything to smell so badly like chemicals. And I had left all my clothes and everything in my room. When I came in I realized that everything had to be washed because it reeked of the pesticides. Even my mattress and my desk chair have to be fabreezed and aired out to help reduce the stench. So my windows will be wide open all of tomorrow to hopefully get most of the smell out. And it looks like I'll be spending the rest of my week washing clothes, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals to get the smell out. So hopefully everyone else's day was a little bit better or at least a little less smelly than mine.

Amazon.com sucks! Today they finally updated my order with them, which was supposed to ship at the very latest yesterday, that Gia is backordered or something like that. They just don't have Gia, who knows why; but at the earliest that will ship out at the end of the month. I'm pissed, they need to update when they don't have things in stock. All of my other items are finally being prepared to be shipped though. But they are behind when I was supposed to get them by almost a week now, so we shall see when I finally get my order.

So COOL!!!

Okay, this is just awesome; we may have at last found Nefertiti's mummified remains. They did a facial reconstruction and it came out looking almost exactly the same as the very famous bust of the beautiful Nefertiti. If it’s really her this will be the find of the century. This will be one of the biggest discoveries in Egypt since Tut’s tomb. My God it’s exciting!!!

A Thought...

It's come to my attention recently that in order for me to not be thought of as a sex object I have to lie about who I am as a person. Am I sexy? Hell yes, that's who I am as I person; I'm damn proud of my body because I work my ass off to stay fit. Am I Bi? Yes, I date men and women. I don't pick one over the other. Again that is a big part of who I am as a person, it's a defining part of my whole personality. Some people think that my icons are to sexy, well you know what I'm not the only person that uses them, they aren't pictures of me; and it showcases things I find amusing or something like that. Its part of my personality, I'm not going to change that to make someone else happy. Am I a flirt? Hell yes I flirt a lot, it's who I am; doesn't mean a damn thing necessarily. Do I talk about sex often? Of course I do, it's a field that I've looked at going into, I know a lot about it and about the things behind it because I've spent countless hours reading medical information and such on the topic. There is nothing wrong with wanting to possible become a sex therapist, they do a lot of good. Do I have some sexy photos? Duh, I want to be a playmate; I'm comfortable in my skin and it's something I've wanted to do since I was little. It's my dream to be a playmate, that isn't going to change anytime soon, and I'm not going to say different.

So as you can see I'm not going to start lying about everything that defines me as a person. What I don't like is that people refuse to look farther than the surface. If everyone judged everyone else like that most people on this earth wouldn't be friends. I have so many other interests, so many other parts that help to make up the complicated person that I am. People need to look past the surface and see other things that lay deeper. People don't want other's to judge them based on surface things yet that's all that most people do to me. More so men that judge me like this, yet they don’t want me to do it to them. That’s what pisses me off.

P.S. I don't have any full nudes on the internet, I'm not a fucking idiot. And at that, only my closest of friends have the link to the page, because only my closest of friends are on my aim list that has the link in it.

I went today to try and see if I could find Underworld the unrated version, since it's now gone down in price so much. Along the way I pick up these dvds:
The Girl Next Door (Unrated version)
Cruel Intentions 2
Beyond Borders

So when I get my Amazon.com order I will have a total of 98 dvds.
